60 Seconds!
Developed by the Poznań-based studio Robot Gentleman, 60 Seconds! is an original survival game infused with humor, tension, and a distinct sense of irony. From the very beginning, players have only one minute to save their family and gather supplies before a nuclear bomb strikes.
The gameplay unfolds in two stages. In the first, lasting precisely sixty seconds, players must hurriedly choose which family members and items to bring into the fallout shelter. The second stage transforms into a fight for survival: daily decisions, rationing food and water, risky expeditions, and unpredictable events make every playthrough unique.
60 Seconds! stands out for its simplicity and ingenuity. The brief reaction window and the pressure of rapid decision-making create immediate tension, which later evolves into a strategic survival experience. A minimalist concept gives rise to a surprising number of outcomes and moral dilemmas, showing how design grounded in constraints can achieve remarkable depth.

Aesthetically, the game draws from the atompunk style — the retro-futurism of the 1950s, an era of fallout shelters, nuclear paranoia, and technological optimism. Its comic-book visuals and dark humor give it the tone of a satire where absurdity meets emotion and reflection on human behavior under pressure.
60 Seconds! earned global acclaim for its originality, replayability, and distinctive dark-comedy tone. Its humor doesn’t trivialize tragedy but instead highlights the absurdity of everyday choices in the face of catastrophe — choices that can be both grotesque and painfully human. In this way, 60 Seconds! becomes a sharp yet playful commentary on human nature: light in tone but rich in insight.
The game launched the broader 60! series, whose combined sales have reached nearly six million copies worldwide. It stands as proof that a Polish studio turned a small, cleverly designed idea into a work of both artistic and commercial success.
